Naruto Manga 486 Review – FISTS

In the last chapter, the scenes ended with the clash of our two favorite ninjas – Naruto and Sasuke.  Naruto arrived just in time to save Sakura from Sasuke’s attack, and this was also the chance for Naruto to confirm his decision to fight Sasuke.

Sasuke attacked Naruto with his chidori and Naruto returned back with Rasengan.  If you remember, the very first time both of them made the same attack was at the top of Konoha hospital where Sasuke was so mad that Naruto have already surpassed him with his powers.  During that time, Sakura was also present trying to stop the two ninjas and it was fortunate enough that Kakashi was there to pull both attacks away from Sakura to the two water tanks.  During that time, it was very much noticeable that Naruto’s rasengan was more powerful than the Chidori and this thought angered Sasuke more.

A few years later, the same ensemble is present in this situation and the two ninjas are at it again, one Ninja full of hate while the other is full of hope and probably confusion on how to save his friend. 

The clash of power was so strong that both of them where blasted off from the strength of both attacks.  Kakashi watched as his two students fly away from the blast and at first instinct pushed himself to catch Naruto’s body while before Sasuke’s body hit the rocks of the mountain, Zetsu came out from nowhere and catched Sasuke’s fall.  Just to give info from the last whereabouts of Zetsu, he was left at the path from Iron Country where he last appeared to Danzou’s team and his bodies or clone of bodies laid lifeless on the ground.

Now Zetsu appears at the right time to aid Sasuke and he informed him that Tobi(Madara) has informed him to stay and watch over Sasuke without making his presence known.  Zetsu immediately realized that their situation is bad in front of Sakura, Kakashi and Naruto, with him still recovering from the attack on the Kage summit and Sasuke still beaten from his last fight, he had no choice but to call back Tobi.  Zetsu disappeared for a moment and went to Tobi’s hideout to inform him of the situation.

Tobi on the meantime just got back to his hideout getting ready for war, he removed his mask and mentioned that it was about time to take out the Rinnegan.  Now, this is an interesting thought since the Rinnegan that we know of belongs to Pain – Nagato.  But Nagato’s body was taken by his friend – Konan.  During the fight with Naruto, Konan requested that she takes Nagato and Yahiko’s body with her so she could properly bury them, a burial that they deserve.  But now, how could Madara have got the rinnegan eyes for himself…hmmm a mystery.

Tobi appeared through his time and space jutsu to re-appear before the Konoha Team 7 and easily recognized the Nine tails, not just by his appearance but from the great amount of charka that he must have felt.  He immediately snapped at Sasuke and reminded him that his order was for him to rest.  He looked back to the Konoha team and decided to that they should retreat for now and the destined fight should be at a different time and suitable place. 

Zetsu didn’t agree with Madara’s decision to retreat and summoned his other clones to be ready to fight.  This worried Kakashi a little bit as he could not bear to battle Madara and Zetsu alone.  Madara warned Zetsu that is not a front liner ninja and that he could not capture the Naruto on his own, the Nine tails has become powerful (of course, Naruto defeated Pain).  Madara mentioned that this hunt for the nine tails should be left for Sasuke.  Madara gave other orders to Zetsu, and that is to find Kisame and get back to his black brother to complete his body.  I guess until now Madara was not informed that Kisame has already been defeated by Killerbee.  Zetsu had no choice but to obey Madara, proving that he is the true leader of Akatsuki.

On the other side, Kakashi warned Naruto again that he should be responsible to fight Sasuke, but Naruto objected.  He said that now he is CERTAIN!  Very strong words, so let’s break down what he meant.  Naruto seems to be aware that Madara was there to take Sasuke out from the battle, but he requested that he say a few words before they leave.  Madara was helping out Sasuke to get up and retreat but Sasuke said, “wait” he knew that Naruto was approaching him to say something and he would want to hear it.

Naruto and Sasuke both looked into each other’s eyes. Naruto started by stating the time where they had fought in the valley of the two statues where the 1^st Hokage and Madara fought.  Back then, Sasuke told Naruto that when two TOP CLASS NINJAs fists meet, they could instantly read each other’s mind.  This was the reason why Naruto provoked Sasuke to go hand in hand in battle while the Chidori and Rasengan fists met.  Naruto’s purpose was for their fists to meet and this was to give Naruto the answer that he was looking for.  By this act, he could feel that would be hidden in Sasuke’s heart.  And Naruto succeeded, he now understand a LOT more. 

Naruto announced that now that both of them have now become top classed ninjas and asked Sasuke if he saw what was really in Naruto’s heart and feelings.  He asked if Sasuke saw what will happen if they fight again, all of the people around them awaited for this answer, both curious and scared.   Naruto announced that both of them WILL DIE.  He said it with confidence, no fear and acted that it was a real fact. 

Naruto volunteered to keep the burden of his hatred, that they are destined to fight and he will be the first one to protect Konoha in case he attacks it.  Sasuke was quiet all this time but he then angrily muttered this words “What is wrong with you and why does Naruto care about him so much”  a question that he could really not comprehend after all these years and after all of what he has done.   Naruto simply answered with a smile “BECAUSE IM YOU’RE FRIEND”  Even Sasuke was taken aback from Naruto’s answer.  He was not sure to believe him this instant or still in disbelief that Naruto did not change. 

Naruto was wise enough to understand the complex side and attitude of Sasuke.  That the only way of communication with him is through fighting and fighting with their fists, and hopefully understand each other.   Our hero Naruto, after all of other people advices and explanation of Sasuke’s crimes, he still hasn’t given up the thought that he could save Sasuke.  Laughing out loud, he said that even if they die and they wont be Jinchuurukis and Uchicha, at least they would understand each other.  Sasuke replied that he would not die and he would kill Naruto. 

Kakashi stepped in and reminded Naruto that he should be the one to battle Sasuke, that he should live on to become Hokage.  But Naruto refused, he said it made no sense to be Hokage if could not save one person.  He said firmly and seriously, that the only person to fight SASUKE , IS HIM!

Now what happens next chapter, I guess, Madara will continue to retreat with Sasuke or they still continue to talk some more.
