Naruto Manga 500 review – The Birth of Naruto

In the past episode, we have witnessed that Naruto has finally taken the powerful chakra of the nine-tails, all with the help of his mother who has motivated him that he can do this as he was meant to absorb this power one day.

But before Kushina leaves Naruto, she had more time than Minato did before when he once appeared before Naruto.  Kushina wanted to explain why Naruto was chosen to be the vessel of the Jinchuuriki.

Uzumaki Kushina was the second carrier of the Nine tails.  Due to her amazing chakra, she was chosen to be the second Jinchuuriki as the first vessel near the end of her life due to old age.

We are not so familiar of the Country or Village of the whirlpool, a few stories on some small missions.  But now we finally realize the specialty of this village – the ninjas of this village are experts in Sealing Techniques, of which Kushina taught Naruto’s father Minato most of its treasured Sealing technique.  Kushina was transferred to leaf village for this purpose, as a child, she was not aware of the reason of her transfer and when she came to know the purpose, she was sad and pressured for the task at hand.  And then she met with the first vessel and she promised her that life can be good even as a vessel if its filled with love.  At school, he met Minato and then as if she always knew and love have started to fill her life and without knowing she would marry the Fourth Hokage later in life.

It was also explained that Eddy(whirlpool) and the Leaf were strong allies, and even though the village has been destroyed for the last war, the friendship still remains and the spinning symbol in Konoha’s ninja’s represents their bond through the years.  Whirlpool was destroyed since other villages feared their great technique with Sealing.

Not only were the two villages allies, the Senju clan and Uzamaki clan are distant relatives, to note, the first Vessel, Uzamaki Nito married the first Hokage.  Uzamaki Nito as the wife of the great Senju ninja and leader, took hold of the Nine-tails making her an important contribution to the Leaf village’s power and security among other villages.

It was during the final month of Kushina’s pregnancy that it was decided that Kushina needs to be placed in a very secure location so that she can deliver safely and the Fourth Hokage would be helping her guard the seal.  CHILD BIRTH is the main period where the Fox tail can be strong enough to come out from its vessel.  Kushina while on her way to the hidden location met Uchiha Mikoto, Sasuke’s mom.  Sasuke was just a few days old and it seems that both Kushina and Mikoto were good friends and were hoping their sons will be good friends as well.

During Kushina’s delivery, Minato was so worried since it was the first time he could hear his wife cry for so much pain.  Not only was the pain due to child birth, at the same time the fox’s chakra is pushing out of her body.  After some gruesome battle between the fox, Minato and Kushina, a healthy baby boy came out and brought tears to both Fourth Hokage and Kushina.  Naruto was taken to be cleaned while Minato concentrated completing the seal on Kushina.

There was a big drop that Minato heard from the side and once he looked, a Masked man was holding his son.  He threatened Minato to stay away from Kushina or else he will kill his one minute old son of the Hokage.

Who is this Masked man, how powerful is he to break the most guarded location in Konoha and put down the Anbu ninjas, im sure you all have your assumptions but more to come on the next chapter.

Naruto Manga 497 review – The Nine-Tails vs Naruto

After uncovering the truth behind his evil side, Naruto learned more about his inner strength and decided that he was ready to face the nine tails.  The 8-tails has also decided that Naruto was worth helping and getting the nine tail’s chakra was a mission he could not refused.

In the last chapter we saw how Naruto confidently raised the key to the nine-tails seal that the fourth-Hokage,his father, has installed in him since birth.  The nine tails was very surprised with this move, he did not realize that Naruto was indeed getting more mature by the day.

Naruto asked the help of his other side to help him absorb the chakra of the nine-tails and separate the hatred that the tailed beast has instore.  The nine tails even realizes that Naruto was not in this fight alone, he has the power of eight tails fighting with him.  Nine tails was not impressed but instead disgusted with the fight he had to recruit help with this fight with him.

The Octo-dude talks to Naruto and gives him reminders through his mind, reminding him that only his willpower can overcome the hatred of the nine tails.

The nine tails started to attack with a big ball of chakra and while Naruto seemed to be motionless, Octo-dude catched the hit to protect Naruto.  This attack was too much for the eight tails and it must be his last attempt to help Naruto – he is now on his own. 

Naruto thanked Octo-dude and made his first attack the SAGE ART GARGANTUAN RASENGAN.  Out of nowhere, this enourmous ball of rasengan was in his hand and directed at the nine tails.  It is probably a new kind of rasengan as it is the first time I saw this new name.  The nine tails caught it by one of its tails and easily blew up the rasengan and made his attack on Naruto.  The tailed beast is very fast and Naruto just barely misses each hit.

This part I really liked – the nine tailed asked “Do you really think you can win?” and naruto answered “Wouldn’t have taken off the seal if I didn’t!” Nice move!

With that being said, (this is amazing) grabing by one of its tail, Naruto lifted up the nine tails with full might and threw him on his behind, That was really strong of Naruto, cool!  And while the fox is still laying down, the other clones of Naruto threw WIND ELEMENT – WIND SPIRAL SHIRUKEN.  And while the fox is suffering the sharp edges of the shrikuen, Naruto took the chance to absorb the chakra of the Fox, slowly his other half attached to his back tried to pull the chakra in, but we see a picture of the fox still smiling – creepy!

The fox was pretty burned with the attack and Naruto took advantaged and continued to absorb the chakra and we thought it was that easy, then all of a sudden a few red drops melded with the chakra and quickly was absorbed too by Naruto – and all of a sudden, Naruto was consumed by the Nine tailed fox hatred.  The fox reminded him of his past and all the hatred that was given to him as well when he was a child. 

The hatred was too strong to bear so instead of him absorbing the nine-tails chakra – he was instead being pulled into the fox power, outside the fox’s world, Yamato and eight tails are now getting worried, the tailed fox’s chakra bubble are starting to grow outside the body of Naruto and Yamato is now tries to do damage control.

Almost half of Naruto’s body was consumed by the nine tails, convincing him that he deserves to be in the dark side and that after all that he’s been through – he belongs here.

Now the surprise of the chapter, Naruto’s mother appeared before him.  Uzamaki Kushina looks into his loving boy and said – you belong right here in my heart son! Tear fest!

Beyond the depths of the Fox’s hatred, Naruto meets his Mother. 

If you remember that when the nine-tails almost took control of Naruto’s body, Minato appeared to reveal to him that the Hokage is Naruto’s father and told him that he believed in him and restored the seal.  Now is this another jutsu that Minato stored inside of Naruto where his mother appears on the time he finally decides to fight with the Nine tails.  If we remember, the story was that Kushina died while giving birth to Naruto so if she’s here to give more advice and loving care that she missed all his life, then that’s a chapter worth waiting for.

Naruto Manga 494 Review – Killerbee and Motoi

We start again the chapter as Motoi continues on his story about Killerbee.  Well, I thought this chapter will be about how Killerbee overcomed the power of the Eight tails and took control over it, but it seemed that this discovery will still  pronounced later.

The eight tails was kept by Cloud country as protection against the other villages that had their own tailed beast.  Even though the Hachibi gave destruction and death to the village, they had no choice but to keep it and transfer each disaster to a new jinchuuriki.  Once the eight tails are driven out of control, the third hokage would fight through this power at the cost of the villagers and sealing the tailed beast into a jar.  It was finally decided that the last Jinchuuriki was chosen to be Bee-san when he was five years old.

When Motoi was five-years-old, he and Killer Bee were good friends. After Motoi’s father was killed extracting the Eight-Tailed Giant Ox from its previous jinchūriki, Motoi came to hate the Eight-Tails. Bee was soon chosen to be the beast’s next jinchūriki and Motoi, just as many other Kumo villagers did, focused his anger towards Bee. He once tried to assassinate Bee to avenge his father, but was disarmed by Bee easily. Despite having his face covered, Motoi assumed that Bee knew it was him, as Bee ungrudgingly greeted him as they used to. After this, Motoi could never bring himself to face Bee, and hadn’t spoken to him for thirty years, but in time he came to admire Bee as a village hero.

Naruto left after hearing this news and had to concentrate on his evil side and why it still feels the sadness and bitterness of his past.  As he medidates a cry for help was heard from Motoi which is now captured by the giant Squid.  Yamato and Naruto went into formation to help Motoi but out from nowhere, the eight tails came to his rescue.

No sooner than 1 minute, the giant squid was defeated and again, Bee-san gave a beaming smile to Motoi.  Motoi always knew he was recognized by Bee-san as the man who tried to kill him before, but Killerbee was a sport and matched fists with Motoi.  The friendship still remains all these years and this made Naruto smile himself

Not an action packed chapter nor a discovering story about killer bee, so nothing so much to go on about.  I hope the next chapters would be better with more action and at least for Naruto learn more of his powers.

A very interesting chapter indeed, with a mysterious coffin that even frightened Uchiha Madara to force him to accept Kabuto’s offer (or now recently known as KABUCHIMARU – the fusion of Orochimaru’s powers and Kabuto’s obession of power)
